Entry-Level Xerox Scanner Gets Accolades from Buyers Lab

Introduced as a color flatbed scanner that with the single touch of a button can scan "almost anything you throw at it," Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) announced today that Buyer's Laboratory, Inc. (BLI) recommending the DocuMate 3220 scanner for its high reliability, with only one misfeed page out of 7,500 pages scanned. The research firm also rated the scanner excellent in workflow analysis for its integration with Visioneer OneTouch with Kofax VRS technology and excellent in productivity with faster than average scan speeds. The Xerox DocuMate 3220 is an advanced entry level flatbed scanner that has a small footprint and can easily support the scanning needs of individuals in small or home offices or even larger office workgroups. Scanning at a fast 23 pages per minute or 46 images per minute in duplex mode, the DocuMate 3220 handles variable paper sizes and delicate originals on the glass or volumes of pages through an automatic document feeder (ADF) that holds up to 50 pages. The Xerox DocuMate 3220 provides simple single button control at the front panel for scanning to any of 9 preset and up to 99 completely customizable one-touch scan profiles.
