Starts Minimized

Question:

When I start TinyTERM, it doesn't open. It puts an icon on the Windows taskbar, but clicking it doesn't do anything. I can't get the TinyTERM window, and there are no error messages.

Answer:

The window position and size information for TinyTERM are corrupted. You can fix that by right-clicking the TinyTERM button on the Taskbar and selecting "Maximize." TinyTERM should open to a full-size window.

Once the window is maximized, go to TinyTERM's File menu and select "Save Session." The next time you start TinyTERM, it will open in a normal window. You may need to resize it at that time, then save the session again.

Question:

When I right-click the icon on the taskbar, there is no "Maximize" option. I'm using Windows 7.

Answer:

The procedure is a little different on Windows 7. Instead of right-clicking the icon, put the mouse pointer on it. After a second or two, a miniature version of the TinyTERM window will appear. It may only be the title bar that comes up.
